Join Santa for the switching on of South Woodford’s Christmas lights and a jolly singalong of festive songs with Oakdale Choir, Redbridge Music Lounge and Brook Brass. Meet Woodford Panto characters and enjoy festive refreshments.
Free event, held at the South Woodford Roundabout, George Lane.

Repair, Reuse and Save Day
St Mary’s Church are holding a Repair Cafe offering the following:
Free electrical repairs,
Free textile repairs,
Free bicycle MOTs,
Recycling, reuse and money saving tips
Toy take & swap for primary age children,
Free refreshments
Repairing items saves money and waste. If you have a bike, a piece of clothing or small electrical item, such as an iron, laptop, smoothie maker etc. that needs fixing, or would like to learn about how to save money in other ways at home, or just want to socialise, perhaps interested in volunteering, why not come along?
The event is in partnership with Saint Mary's Church, The South Woodford Society, ELWA & London Borough of Redbridge. The community is planning to run Repair Cafe sessions bi-monthly in the future if there's enough interest and support.
